Continued from home page ... In the music business, the folder that contains your photo, bio, press clippings and demo tape/CD, is called your press kit or press package. The same package goes to record companies, agents, attorneys and the media. So it better look good and contain everything you need others to know--without giving them a week's worth of reading materials. When putting together this important package, less is more. Too much to read will make someone impatient. And realistically, what can you say about a brand new act that has no real career? Your press kit should contain the following materials only: A clear, crisp 8x10 photo with artist/band name and contact info. One or two short, positive reviews or press clips. Authored E-BookWhy I Wrote This Book and The Painful Truth That Comes with It
It's all about new techniques -- simplifying old techniques, and consolidating steps. Making things go faster, but not worse. -Martha Stewart There are many women in the world that believe it is un-progressive, some going as far to say that it’s downright insensitive to say that women belong in the home, but that isn’t what I’m saying at all. I’m simply saying that in most cases for women, there is a desire to not just maintain the home, but watch after the children. Whether it be maternal instinct or social conditioning is a debate for another day, but it’s something that is definitely ingrained in the hearts and minds of women everywhere. The painful truth of feminism is that women in most cases at least have the ambition toward being a mother and an astute wife. With that said, there are a variety of reasons why a woman may want to be a good homemaker. A present wife and/or mother is something that is not only important to have as a component to a family, but is essentially the heart of the family, or metaphorical glue. It holds the family together and brings in the nurturing love that men seem to lack, and as a consequence, need so much. Men are a lot like babies for their entire lives really, constantly in need of nurturing and attention, and the duty of the woman throughout most societies is to be the source of this nurturing, the beacon of light that instills love wherever it goes. If viewed as a duty, it is possible to be a bad wife, especially if you have the desire to be a good wife. If you don’t have the desire to be a good wife then this book probably isn’t for you – you’d be more interested in some sort of specific topic or some other purpose you’ve invented for yourself, but for the rest of womankind, I welcome you. This book is broken up in sections of the house. For example, chapter 3 talks about how to maintain the kitchen while chapter 4 explores the fascinating intricacies of keeping a bathroom sparkling, and so on and so forth. Life is a lot like a house, with various rooms and various problems. As a wife, you will run into more problems than keeping the house clean, but it’s important to get the basics down so that you can give your full attention to the real problems at hand. Housekeeping, after all, is just one of the many rooms in a wife’s life, but that’s exactly why I wrote this book – to substantiate the importance of keeping the home clean and how it serves as a foundation for the rest of a wife’s work. Love cannot spread if it isn’t in the atmosphere and the best and clearest way to show that you love your husband as well as your family and his family is to keep your house looking clean. I’m not talking, pick-up-the-socks clean. I mean the glossy magazine cover of Good Housekeeping clean. This book will focus on maintaining each room of the house and as a consequence, how to maintain one’s marriage. When I say maintain each room, I essentially mean that this book will explore how to keep tricky sections of the house clean as well as how to make it presentable. Appearance after all are for the sake of, well, appearances. It’s always important to gauge the situation before you get started – what rooms need cleaning first? What is this person likely to scrutinize over? It’s also important to have emergency plans for whenever someone really important comes over. For example, part of being married is that you should expect surprise drop-ins not only from your own family but your in-laws as well. This means that you should always keep certain places clean, and the best way to do this is to have a day-to-day routine. With the help of this book, you can get yourself on the track to being a better wife and making cleaning as easy as breathing. They say that men are the ones that are in charge of relationships as well as the household, but it’s important to remember that women are just as important because of what they do in the home. If there were no women, there would be no marriage, and if there were no women, there would certainly be dirty houses littered all over the world. Luckily this book can rescue your home from being one of the many second-rate motels across the world and into a one of a kind beauty where love is born. Press ReleaseAds

In 1993, at the age of 29, John was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison, where he did not adjust easily; often getting kicked out of prisons for violent confrontations with pedophiles, rapists, and informants. In 1996 John began his transformation serving as the lead member of the Inmate Suicide Watch Team at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Ft. Dix located in New Jersey. During this time John created and facilitated programs such as: Criminal Lifestyles, Criminals Anonymous, Alternative to Violence, Men’s Issues and Anger Management all under the guidance of the psychiatrists and psychologists at Ft. Dix NJ. John authored the program to assist inmates, who were having difficulty adjusting and coping with life inside prison.
After his release from prison in 2002, John worked as a Family Services Counselor at the Fortune Society in New York. During that time he helped connect clients with their loved ones by supporting personal growth and the development of essential life skills. Men on his caseload were given the opportunity to learn vital interpersonal and parenting skills, develop the tools needed to escape a life defined by crime and/or substance abuse. Mr. Fuller has been featured on: Fox News, CBS News, and numerous radio broadcasts; highlighted in Loaded Magazine, NY Daily News and Crains NY Magazine. JournalisticPoliticians and Police - ‘Serve and Protect’ –
Themselves That Is With more and more cases of police brutality and political corruption, the world’s eyes are on the U.S. and how they manage their domestic conflicts. (August 25, 2014) Bladensburg, MD - Police brutality, according to policecrutality.com, “1 out of every 116.4 officers allegedly engaged in misconduct; 215 fatalities were reported in connection with alleged misconduct; $128, 306, 406 was spent on police misconduct-related civil litigation – not including legal fees.” Injustice.com published a recent study, showing “police have a bad reputation across the United States with reason.” - Video of Eric Garner, a Brooklyn, NY man killed by police choke hold while being confronted about selling cigarettes. - 2 Chattanooga Police Officers fired after video surfaced of their actions against a federal inmate at a Salvation Army halfway house. Police were caught on surveillance camera punching, choking and beating the inmate with batons. Inmate suffered a broken leg during the beating and video shows him being pulled by it. - Los Angeles police officer was caught on cell phone video straddling and punching an unarmed woman in the face after stopping her on a California highway for being barefoot. CBS Los Angeles source David Diez, a passing driver, said “He just pounded her.” - FERGUSON, Mo. (AP) — Civil rights leader the Rev. Al Sharpton pressed police on Tuesday to release the name of the officer who fatally shot an unarmed teenager in suburban St. Louis, but he also pleaded for calm … Politicians in their designer suites, charismatic presence, full of smiles and campaign promises; have found themselves facing time behind bars due to conviction of some unscrupulous act, betraying the trust of those who elected them. - March 2013 - Former Mayor of Detroit, Kwame Kilpatrick, was found guilty of 24 federal crimes related to public corruption. “Investigators estimate the ex-mayor’s crimes made him $840,000 and facilitated $9.6 million in illegal profits for his friend, a city contractor. - Rod Blagojevich – Former Illinois Governor was convicted in 2011 and sentenced to 14 years for bribery, extortion conspiracy, and was also accused of solicitation to fill the seat left vacant by President Barack Obama. - James Dimora – Former Cuyahoga County (Ohio) Auditor was sentenced to 21 years and 10 months in prison for taking more than $1 million in exchange for granting $21.4 million in real estate appraisal contracts, along with other bribery charges in 2010. For those sentenced come a reality of a life they could not have imagined in their wildest dreams. In many cases police officers and politicians do not seem to think they could end up a convict. A couple of excessive force complaints here and there leading to a death; and skimming a little money from the city has landed many high profile persons and law enforcement in a lifestyle most only see on shows like: Lock Up, Scared Straight, and Jail. The public’s trust has been shaken and continues to shake with every conviction of an officer who swore to serve and protect. Because this is not a common thought for most, could anyone ever be mentally prepared to do time in prison? The prison environment can be extremely stressful for the first time; yelling, banging on cell doors, the smell you have to be there to understand, and the hard stares from aggressive and intimidating figures. John “Doc” Fuller, author of “The Ten Prison Commandments – The Ten Rules You Must Know Before You Enter A County Jail, State or Federal Prison, says day-to-day life in prison will be a far cry from their former life of freedom and choice however; there are ways to navigate while incarcerated. Although each institution is different there are common routines and activities that inmates participate in. Yard time, chow, some prisons have treatment, work, and educational programs; while other prisoners stay in their cell 23 hours a day. With these activities come rules. Not just the ones of the prison, but those of the inmates. They are now in the inmates’ house and will follow the house rules or pay the price. Swift physical punishment is always the order of the day. These unwritten codes of conduct govern the life of an inmate in all interactions they have, from how a conversation with staff translates to on-looking inmates to how to exist in close quarters with a cellmate. Instances of snitching, stealing and gambling have lead to fatal consequences, says Doc. A newly arriving inmate, no matter who they were on the outside, is prey and can easily be identified by, their bed roll, but if they keep calm and become observant of their surroundings life behind bars can be tolerable. “Every person should be aware of these unwritten rules. Know them. Mistakes are made every day and any person is subject to the possibility…wrong place, wrong time – it happens.” The Innocence Project is quoted as, “We will never know for sure, but the few studies that have been done estimate that between 2.3% and 5% of all prisoners in the U.S. are innocent (for context, if just 1% of all prisoners are innocent that would mean that more than 20,000 innocent people are in prison). DNA testing is only possible in 5-10% of all criminal cases; it shows that science cannot always clear innocent suspects, which can result in wrongful convictions.” ANYBODY can end up in prison. ANYBODY! Doc offers common sense and sound advice: “If you are a young person in school, a professional athlete, a celebrity, or a hardworking person contemplating or engaging in criminal acts, you should seek help from a family member, guidance counselor, teacher, spiritual advisor, true friend, mentor, or qualified mental health professional. Then you may never have to enter the prison system and apply the commandments.” Since the trust of the public has been broken, prison is the ideal place for those that seek to do harm and protect no one. Jeremy Stinson is a young and enthusiastic candidate who is running a tireless grassroots campaign, with his sights set on replacing Congressman Steny Hoyer as our representative. Unlike Hoyer, Stinson is delivering an authentic message of common-sense reform that resonates with voters like myself. Principled yet pragmatic, Stinson the perfect candidate to rise above the polarizing rhetoric of our Congress, and build coalitions that will unite conservatives and liberals in meaningful reform.
Many voters mistakenly believe they have no choice but to vote within the two-party system, but I am proud to support Jeremy Stinson in his bid for Congress. In a time when Capitol Hill is rife with dysfunction, an independent, principled voice like Stinson’s is just what we need to get government back in the hands of the people. Blog Posts

It has been almost a month since I have started using Garcinia Cambogia Liquid Drops and I must say I am very happy with the results. What really sold me on the idea of trying this product is the liquid form. I'm not big on taking pills, so this works out great. I have gone down 1 pant size, but the best part is others have mentioned they see how much smaller my stomach and waistline have gotten. LOVE IT! It is great to notice, but even better when others have seen a difference. I have decided to keep this to go with my workout routine and cleaner eating. I can only imagine just how my better I will look with this plan. Just WOW! Love it!,
This review is from: Hunnt 168 Full Color Makeup Eyeshadow Palette Eye Shadow (Health and Beauty) I am very happy with this pallet. I was so very excited and happy my item came quickly. I was looking at the photos and I must say ... the photos do it no justice. The pallet arrived packaged very well. No damage at all - enclosed in bubble wrap and sturdy cardboard box that you can store it in while it is not in use. There are just SO many colors to choose from. There is a shade for every color in the rainbow. They are bright and look so much better in person. I used mine the very next day it arrived. It was so easy to apply. Even with really oily skin I only had to apply once and I was good all day. There were so many compliments on the attractiveness of the color. I just love it. It will be a while before I run out of colors, but in the meantime I am thinking this would be great for the make-up fashionistas on my holiday and birthday shopping list. You will not be disappointed. ASL Must have!
This review is from: Signing Made Easy (A Complete Program for Learning Sign Language. Includes Sentence Drills and Exercises for Increased Comprehension and Signing Skill) (Paperback) Great resource. In addition to my course material (actually in place of) I am using Signing Made Easy. I have a few ASL instructional manuals and I am happy to have this as a reference. Even though I have several other illustrated ASL books this one has a lot of different signs that are not included in the other material. It is always a good idea to have more than one ASL dictionary type books as all of them don't have the same signs. Because this book also includes information on deaf culture it makes interactions within this community a little easier for me (a hearing person) to understand. Resumes
